my tags on that went on for so long i had to go back and edit them to fit tag limit and i still had to delete a bunch of them. Its the autism it literally is
#funerary practices and the afterlife and body disposal methods and just. grief and mourning in general r like. My bigggg autism thing i dont#talk abt it a lot bc 1 i just Dont shut up once i get going 2 a lot of ppl dont want to hear abt stuff like that which is fine. kicked pupp#expression. i just find it very very interesting to see how different ppl grieve and whats considered like. Right and wrong when it comes t#care of the body yk. bc like. most/every culture has their practices and anything outside of that feels wrong to them bc its like. yk its s#pivotal idr the exact anecdote/story but caitlin doughty mentioned it in one of her books where like. there were 2 groups and one cremated#their dead and the other practiced mortuary cannibalism and both viewed the other as barbaric and it rly shaped how i view it like. yk. its#rly something so personal where even when the way someone grieves makes you uncomfortable its like. you cant force someone to grieve in a#way thats palatable to you. yk. for a rly long time washing the body and being with the body after death was a rly important part of grief#in like. usamerican culture its only more recently that it became wayyy less common w the rise of funeral homes and stuff. and obv for many#ppl that wouldnt be comforting but i think it could be for a lot of ppl..#my personal belief on it is everyone should be allowed to grieve and dispose of the dead As they want and that should be like. yk. theres#the nebulous term of Desecration which is legally rly difficult to define there r a lot of states where the law is 'if it would outrage#normal family values' which is just so fucking stupid obviously like. whos family. bc every single person has a different view on whats#appropriate yk... IDK. i think as long as its relatively safe for the living and as long as its not like. Against the wishes of the decease#like. if someone says they want a burial and then theyre cremated (not out of necessity like 4 financial stuff) im like. yk. obv theyre dea#but i think its important to honor their last wishes... yk. and that should go for like. If someone wants an open pyre cremation that shoul#be available... if someone wants aquamation etc. IDK. etc. like. another thing is with embalming while i wish it werent De Facto ppl r#railroaded into it i entirely disagree w ppl who say it should be wiped out entirely like. there r environmental ramifications 4 sure and i#love for that to be more like. talked abt... but embalming is rly important to a lot of ppl and idt its right to shit all over that. idt it#necessary for every death i personally dont see the point of embalming for like. a peaceful death with a quick funeral and theyre getting#cremated after. but ik like. for a lot of black families embalming is very important for like. a reclamation esp in violent or traumatic#deaths its very important to have like. a funeral with a viewing. and i think thats something that shouldnt be taken away from anyone ever.#even like. ik this is controversial but extreme embalming w/ posing and stuff as long as thats what the decease wanted like. i think its#awesome !! i Dont agree w taking the corpses of the poor or disenfranchised to prop up for art pieces Personally but like. there r ppl who#want to be displayed like that like. riding their motorcycle one last time or ummm. that posthumous concert that happened. i get how it can#seem morbid or wtvr but like. the families r happy with that its what those ppl wanted and it like. its a celebration of their life and#their interests and i think thats super important. BASICALLY.#ok tag limits coming so im cutting myself off for sure this time. but wtvr. i hope this makes sense to anybody else sorry i rambled. im ver#passionate abt it KJBADKJBDKJ

Grump and Pupp
Pairings: Grumpy!Billy Butcher x Sunshine!Reader
A continuation of the Grump and Pupp series. I've compiled a bunch of random Butcher and Reader moments:
Tumblr media
**The Breakfast Battle
It was a rare quiet morning in the house, and Butcher was trying to enjoy a peaceful breakfast. He’d just poured himself a cup of black coffee and was about to dig into a plate of eggs and bacon when you burst into the kitchen like a whirlwind of energy.
“Morning, Butcher!” you chirped, sliding into the seat across from him. “Whatcha eating? Ooh, eggs and bacon, classic! You know what would make that even better? Pancakes! And maybe some waffles. Or, wait, how about a full English breakfast? We could add beans, tomatoes, sausages—oh, and don’t forget the toast!”
Butcher glared at you over his mug. “I’m eatin’ what I’ve got. If you want the full works, make it yourself.”
You grinned, undeterred. “Oh, I could do that! But wouldn’t it be more fun if we cooked together? We could be like those cooking show hosts! We’d have matching aprons and everything.”
Butcher took a long sip of his coffee, trying to block out the mental image of you in an apron with your name stitched across it. “No aprons, no cookin’ shows, and no bloody beans. Now, piss off and let me eat in peace.”
You pouted, but only for a moment. Then you jumped up and started rummaging through the cabinets. “Fine, but I’m making us some pancakes! You’ll thank me later.”
As you banged the cabinets around the kitchen, Butcher could only watch in exasperation. His peaceful morning was officially over.
**The War for TV remote
It was movie night—though Butcher would have preferred to call it a ‘quiet night in’ if he had any choice in the matter. He slumped on the couch, ready to unwind with something violent and full of explosions, when you skipped into the living room with a stack of DVDs in hand.
“So, I was thinking,” you began, plopping down next to him. “We could watch something light and funny! Maybe a rom-com, or a Disney movie! How about ‘The Lion King’? You’ll love it—it’s got action, drama, and catchy songs! Oh, and talking animals, too!”
Butcher’s eye twitched as you held up the DVD. “Not a chance in hell,” he growled, snatching the remote before you could grab it. “We’re watchin’ ‘Rambo’.”
You gave him a pleading look, your lip quivering ever so slightly. “But Butcher, we always watch stuff like that! Just one time, can we watch something with a happy ending?”
“Nope,” Butcher replied, turning on the TV with finality.
Undeterred, you leaned in closer, your hand inching toward the remote. “How about a compromise? We’ll watch half of ‘Rambo,’ and then we can switch to ‘The Lion King.’ Fair?”
“Not fair,” Butcher shot back, tightening his grip on the remote. “You want happy endings, go read a fairy tale.”
Just then, you made your move—lunging for the remote with a grin. But Butcher was quicker, holding it out of your reach as you half-climbed onto him in a futile attempt to grab it. The two of you ended up in a ridiculous tug-of-war, with you laughing and Butcher grumbling under his breath.
Finally, you relented, falling back onto the couch with a huff. “Fine, you win. But one of these days, I’m picking the movie.”
Butcher smirked, settling back into his seat. “Over my dead body.”
**The Laundry Disaster
Butcher wasn’t one for domestic chores, but he liked things to be in order. So when he found you in the laundry room, surrounded by piles of clothes, he knew trouble was brewing.
“What the bloody hell are you doin’?” Butcher demanded, eyeing the mess you’d made.
You looked up from the mountain of laundry with a sheepish grin. “Laundry! I thought I’d help out, you know? But… I might have mixed up the colors a bit.”
Butcher’s eyes narrowed as he spotted a pair of his black jeans now sporting a very unwelcome pink hue. “You’ve gotta be kiddin’ me.”
“Okay, so maybe I used a bit too much detergent… and maybe I put everything in on the wrong setting,” you admitted, holding up one of Butcher's shirt that had turned pink. “But it’s the thought that counts, right?”
Butcher snatched the ruined shirt from your hands, his patience wearing thin. “The thought don’t mean much when all my clothes are buggered.”
You shrugged, still smiling. “Look on the bright side—at least you don’t have to do the laundry now! I took care of it for you.”
Butcher let out a low growl, rubbing his temples. “From now on, you stay out of the laundry room. In fact, stay out of any room with chores, period.”
You saluted him playfully. “Aye, aye, captain! But I’ll still help with folding, right? I’m great at folding!”
Butcher just shook his head, resigned. “Yeah, right. Folding me patience into a square, more like.”
**The Prank War
You were bored, which was never a good thing for Butcher. Whenever you got bored, trokuble followed. This time, you’d decided to amuse yourself with a little prank—harmless fun, you thought.
Butcher was in the kitchen, his back to you as he poured himself a drink. Perfect. You tiptoed up behind him and—snap!—popped a small party cracker right near his ear.
“WHAT THE FU—” Butcher jumped about a foot in the air, the drink sloshing out of his glass as he spun around to face you.
You burst out laughing, clutching your sides as you saw the look of pure murder in his eyes. “Gotcha!” you squealed, backing away slowly.
Butcher set the glass down, taking a deep breath. “You’ve got a death wish, don’t ya?”
You grinned cheekily, holding up another party cracker. “Maybe, but it’s worth it to see that face! Come on, Butcher, don’t be such a grump.”
He lunged forward, grabbing you by the arm. “Right, that’s it. You’re in for it now, sunshine.”
You yelped as he hoisted you over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes, carrying you toward the front door. “Hey! Put me down! Where are you taking me?”
“To the curb where you belong,” Butcher replied, though there was a hint of amusement in his voice.
You couldn’t stop laughing as he marched you outside, depositing you on the front step before turning to go back in.
“Come on, Butcher!” you called after him, still giggling. “It was just a joke!”
“Joke’s on you,” Butcher shot back, slamming the door behind him.
Of course, you weren’t deterred. Five minutes later, you were back inside, plotting your next prank with a grin on your face.

A fun night with friends gets tense as Jack x Reader fight and make up 😈 👶🏼
18 + drama,sex,language
It seems like with a new baby all you had done for weeks is breastfeed and sleep. Jack took time off but was busy with diaper changes and doing extra work around the house. Jack didn’t want any nannies. He stayed up at night with daughter Ella who insisted on waking up at 3AM to be entertained.
Both of you had been so consumed with baby Ella you were completely off the grid. Neither of you knew what day it was. Jack decided to have the guys over for a games night. That way he could have some fun and still be with you and Ella.
“Can you get that babe? I’m just changing Ella” Jack called out to you as you were making your famous appetizers and putting out chips and beer for the guys.
You opened the door to 10 guys looking at you with huge smiles. They were being all quiet to not disturb little Ella. One by one they creeped in silently and hugged you.
“Guys she’s awake. This isn’t a library you know.” You said as they got comfortable in the living room.
“Sweet cuz being quiet is too hard.” Cope said with a mouthful of chips already.
“What up bro!” Sunni greeted Jack loudly as he came into the room with little Ella over his shoulder.
“Dafuq you being so loud for bro?” Jack said furrowing his brow as he greeted his friends. Jack was the more serious one of the group that looked after everyone so seeing him as a dad being stern was fitting. Fatherhood suited him.
“Sorry man, y/n said we didn’t have to be so quiet.” Trap said as he cracked the seal on a beer.
Jack looked at you like you’d lost your mind. He was definitely more strict than you about what was acceptable around little Ella.
“Yo bruh, how we supposed to have a quiet game night?” 2Fo asked disappointed
“K well, YOU can settle Ella down and we’ll get a good night’s sleep.” Jack said grumpily.
“Ok hunny give her to me.” You said sensing the tension and stress in your boyfriend’s voice. “I have to feed her anyway.”
Jack carefully handed Ella over. He had become attached at the hip to her. Ella started to fuss and cling to Jack’s shirt with her tiny fingers as she was being pried away.
“Alright let go of daddy.” You said as you tried to settle her on your lap to feed her. You whipped out your breast and little Ella smelling food began to cry and paw at your boob until she aggressively latched on.
“Whoah! What in the Wild Kingdom?” Urban said shielding his eyes upon seeing a part of you he had never seen before. Jack rushed over with a baby blanket and covered the side Ella was on blissfully sucking.
“Calm down you guys. Breastfeeding is normal.” You said “It’s not sexual at all.”
“Babe nobody wants to see that. Correction, I don’t want my boys seeing my shit.” Jack said referring to your body.
You rolled your eyes and said “I’ll use the blanket but I’m not running and hiding to feed Ella especially in my own home.”
“Babe please take ladybug to the bedroom and feed her there. It’s going to get loud.” Jack said. He really just didn’t want anyone to see your boob and they were choosing their players in 2K. It was about to get real.
“No.” You said flatly irritating him even more and he felt disrespected in front of his friends.
“y/n…” Jack started saying
“I’m staying right here.” You said defiantly “I don’t need to hide to feed my baby.”
“Our baby.” Jack corrected
“Is my last name Harlow?” You shot back sassily. It was making you upset that Jack hadn’t asked you to marry him yet and people kept asking why. It was always in the back of your mind and came out in this unexpected way.
“No but Ella’s is.” Jack countered cooly. This made you start to cry and Ella broke off your nipple crying too.
“Not Ok Jack!” You said as you patted her tiny back.
“I’m sorry that was uncalled for.” He apologized. You both were under the stress of being new parents and new famous parents at that. It was a logistical nightmare to leave the condo to even take Ella and the puppy for a walk. Jack was used to moving around his hometown freely, but now needed to worry about being photographed constantly.
“But it’s how you feel let’s face it!” You said standing up and heading to the room with Ella. “You’re right we’ll go.”
Something inside of Jack panicked at you saying the words “we’ll go.” He didn’t ever want that to happen. “I’ll hold ladybug” Jack said reaching for his daughter.
“She’s hungry and would like to just eat in peace.” You said in a huff and walked towards the bedroom.
“That’s actually crazy because I wanna eat in peace too.” Kentucky Boy Tyler commented with his mouth full of popcorn.
“For the record y/n, we kinda came over to hang with you too.” Sunni said “And our niece.”
You stopped in your tracks. You weren’t aware how uncomfortable they were getting seeing you and Jack fight. “You…you did?” You said wiping your tears with the baby blanket.
“Yeah we can handle a bit a boob not like we never seen them before.” Phil said. Jack shot him a look. “I mean not your boobs which they’re great, I mean nothing wrong with seeing your boobs.”
“Just shut up bro.” Quiiso said to Phil hitting him in the arm. “Y/N sit down, sometimes my boy is an idiot.” He said glancing at Jack sharply as he played with the puppy.
“Sorry maybe I’m not as ready for company as I thought…or marriage.” You said which was a shot again at Jack.
“Y/N please!” Jack said half irritated, half very sorry. He took your hand to talk to you privately in the bedroom.
Everyone went back to the game. They weren’t going to let an argument ruin their night. Once in the room Jack took Ella and put her in her bassinet. You were still standing there glaring at him. He backed you into a wall and started kissing you. All the fatigue and tension you were feeling responded immediately pulling his head of curls in and your tongues locked. You craved his touch. It had been a few weeks since you looked into each other’s eyes. Jack started lifting up your shirt and feeling on your butt. “Can we fuck yet? Is it 6 weeks?” He said passionately.
“It’s past 6 weeks we just been so tired.” You said breathing heavy. Ella had fallen asleep with a belly full of milk. Seeing she was ok Jack started sucking on one of your breasts. You moaned from how sore they were from breastfeeding. He gulped down some milk and liked the taste. “Fuck you taste so good.” He said. He felt in your underwear for a sign you wanted him as much as he wanted you and pulled out wet fingers. He laid you on the bed to enter you missionary style.
“Jack…” you said breathlessly “Condoms…we don’t want another one so soon.”
Jack had started penetrating you and paused “Speak for yourself.” He said looking in your eyes. “Mrs. Harlow.”
That was music to your ears and you arched your back. Jack went all the way in. He steadied himself by getting you in a headlock position and repeatedly hit your core with an intensity that made your legs shake and you clawed at his back. “Ughh! Fuck Jack.” You said quietly as not to wake Ella. It took some getting used to his size again. He saw you wince a bit.
“You ok baby?” He said lovingly slowing his stroke. You nodded yes.
“Keep it there. This feels so good.” You said responding to his easier pace. He slid in and out of you with ease as you were so wet and ready.
“I’m…I’m sorry baby. I got so excited to be inside you.” He said between heavy breaths.
Jack knew he had to be quick with the guys outside and Ella waking up randomly. He picked up his thrust again and covered your mouth. You moaned but wanted to scream into the palm of his hand. He cupped your ass driving into your cushiony walls until he gushed. As he pulled out rich cream dripped down your inner thighs. He went back in to feel your warmth until he softened. His curls were dangling. As he stayed in you he kissed your forehead. “Don’t ever doubt I love you.” He whispered before finally pulling out with a moan. “Let’s get back out there.”
“How was the make up sex” Ace asked off-handedly as the both you went back into the living room. He was in the midst of dunking on Urban as Lebron James in the game.
Jack’s friends knew him too well. He slapped your ass a little too hard and said “incredible.”
“Oww!” You cried out and covered your mouth as you woke up the puppy and Ella at the same time. You and Jack exchanged looks. “I’ll get Ella. You get pups.” He said.
“I’m getting more beer.” Sunni said “This is going to be a long night.”

Am I wrong to assume that Rammstein started using Richard more as a backup vocalist on albums? In Untitled and especially in Zeit? Like I swear I can hear his voice and not just in Deutschland obviously.
Hi 👋
Well, he’s officially listed as a background singer for the band overall, and for the songs Radio and Deutschland (of course, and you can hear it clearly here) it’s documented that he sang along, as noted in the linked Rammwiki articles. However, it’s often the case that bands don’t necessarily list every background vocal activity of their members, which makes it a bit difficult to track.
Live, he clearly sang along on Du riechst so gut, Asche zu Asche, Tier, Puppe, Du hast and more, with Du riechst so gut being perhaps the most notorious example. Though, I have to say, while I love his growling on the live version, it doesn’t really sound to me like he’s the one in the album version - standing in a phone booth in a shirt and suspenders, speaking the lines into the phone. That sounds more like Till to me, but of course, I could be wrong.
In this small excerpt from the Zeit remix by Robot Koch, there’s clearly another male voice alongside Till’s handling the higher notes:
I strongly assume that’s Richard, as I listened to a full demo of Zeit with only his voice a while ago (though unfortunately, it’s no longer available on YouTube).
So I guess you're assuming the right thing 😊

To Malfunction is to Live
A/N: Janitor is the reader, it just disrupted the reading experience to put "you".
Lies of P AU
The recordings started off as expected. Silence. Darkness. Dull voices. As the gears shifted and the processors warmed up to its unique coding, puppet P-360 began to take in the world around it. More precisely, it began to associate code to vision, creating image recognition memory. Initially its vision was very narrow, only registering what was directly placed in front. But, taking the scientists by surprise, it began to register beyond its coded scope. It began to learn on its own and create its own memory! The scientists rejoiced. After 359 failed puppets, this one worked! Enthusiastic, they began to tinker more with P-360, granting it more senses and memory. It grew rapidly both in physical and mental capabilities.
Then a new scientist, Geppetto, was assigned to P-360. With all the success, the next stage was to create emotions. Could the puppet understand human emotions? Could it respond to it? Such questions could only be answered by the master puppet scientist himself. Refusing to touch the original, Geppetto experiment on prototypes. Any success was applied to P-360. No one expected the puppet to emote without prompt, but then an event occurred. As Geppetto bid P-360 goodnight, he saw the puppet smile at the scientists, unprompted. A frenzy ran throughout the scientists. Did he understand what a smile is? How did he learn it? Did he mirror back because he wanted to or because he had to? How much free will was included in the code? Such questions were endless, and Geppetto couldn’t help but start to refer to the puppet as his son.
Sophia sighed and fast-forwarded through the memories. There was nothing new here that she hadn’t seen before. The courts understood the Geppetto’s puppet could create memories, but that still didn’t explain his actions. He wasn’t coded to behave this way, and free will needed evidence in court. A smile hardly counted against the law. Sophia selected a new memory, a few months from the puppet’s first smile.
The lab was silent, and the lights were off. Then they suddenly turned on and a person came into view. The janitor. The one the scientists blamed for everything that occurred. They couldn’t sue the janitor’s family but the ensured each member knew the loss to humanity this measly human incurred. Sophia zoomed in and began to watch for the 100th time. She knew the moments by heart, but still, she couldn’t help but be raptured once more.
The janitor was cleaning and listening to music. Lost in their own world, they were completely indifferent to their surroundings. Completely oblivious to the puppet that woke up. No one could explain what caused Geppetto’s puppet to awaken. After daily tests, Geppetto’s puppet was turned off. No one knew what would happen if the puppet stayed awake, and no one wanted to stay all night to test that. They all had their own families to return to. The puppet’s blue eyes watched the janitor’s motion with a cocked head. The expression remined when the janitor turned around and screamed at the sight of the awakened puppet. They stared at the puppet before them. Geppetto’s puppet stared back. Then the puppet smiled at the janitor. Sophia saw surprise register on the janitor’s face, then they smiled back. Psychologists would forever ponder over the power of the human smile.
The janitor lifted a hand the waved it to the puppet. Geppetto’s puppet stared at the janitor, then lifted his hand and gave a clunky wave back. The janitor nodded and continued with their work. Their back once more to the puppet, they failed to notice the way the puppet watched transfixed on their every movement, and how he would imitate the janitor’s actions. Every once in a while, he would lift his hand and wave or smile. The janitor noticed nothing, but when their work was done, they turned around smiled and waved goodbye to Geppetto’s puppet.
The next day, Geppetto’s puppet was put to sleep, but Sophia saw how the janitor stopped and waved at the puppet. When they saw that he was unresponsive, their hand dropped, and they stared at the lifeless entity in front of them. Slowly they reached out and gently patted the puppet’s head. The puppet’s eyes shot open, and the janitor jerked their head back. Apologies sputtered out of them as they backed away, but Geppetto’s puppet paid it no heed. Instead they reached a hand up and patted their head. Again, none of the scientists in court could explain the puppet’s ability to disobey its programmed commands, and the court saw it as proof that the puppet was already malfunctioning. Geppetto’s puppet kept patting his head as the janitor hurriedly cleaned the room. Then the puppet slowly made their way over to the janitor. He waited for the janitor to turn towards him before smiling and patting the janitor’s head. Sophia wondered if the court labeled this interaction as a malfunction too.
Fast-forwarding again, Sophia skimmed through repeated similar interactions between Geppetto’s puppet and the janitor. She saw how the janitor loosened up around the puppet. How waves and smiles became jokes and conversations. Most of the conversations were one-sided but no one could miss the way the puppet’s eyes expanded whenever the janitor spoke about the outside world, or the way his head would rest on his palms as he listened to the janitor’s stories. Realizing that the puppet wasn’t participating as much in their conversations, the janitor started asking the puppet questions or challenging them with riddles, a pastime the puppet reveled in. Such interactions paid in other ways. During this time, Geppetto’s puppet’s vocabulary and knowledge rapidly developed. More interestingly, he began to ask questions. Encouraging this, the scientists gave the puppet access to the library and began leaving him on at night so that he could spend the time studying.
It was around this time that the puppet’s memories would become splotchy. Random cuts and gaps in time. Most accredited it to the processor resting when nothing occurred, technology limitations, and general glitches and they paid little heed. It was only during the investigations, when painstaking process went into recovering those gaps did the court realize the truth. Geppetto’s puppet gained the ability to hide his memories. Somehow, he learned that his memories were being recorded and watched and he started to be very selective over what he remembered for others to see. All of the recovered memories involved the janitor.
After their work was completed, the puppet would bring the janitor over to the library. They would read books, pointing out stuff of interests, until the janitor fell asleep. At some point, the puppet would reposition the janitor so that they were sleeping on his lap. He would gently pat their head and read till the wee hours of the morning. Some nights the janitor would bring paint and paper and chuckle as the puppet struggled to grasp a paintbrush and spill paint everywhere. A lot of mess was created, but also a lot of art, most of which was uncovered later at the crime scene. Even Sophia couldn’t help a smile at the puppet’s surprised face when the janitor painted his face with a blue butterfly. It was during this period that Geppetto’s puppet began to be more vocal. His likes, dislikes, different facial expressions, and even his desires. For the first time, he chose a name for himself. P. A simple name for the simple being. For the first time, he expressed reluctance at going back to the lab, at being separated from the janitor.
Then the janitor was let go. The institute needed to show profit and so layoffs went around, and the janitor was handed the pink slip. So they disappeared, and Sophia was left to watch Geppetto’s puppet, no, P, stand alone, forever waiting for someone who was taken away from him. It always amazed her that, despite his naiveté, P never asked the other scientists about the janitor. In fact, he somehow instinctively knew to stay aloof around their questions. This behaviour would come up in court as proof of P’s growing humanity. Then the break-in occurred. It would come up later, that the institute failed to invalidate the janitor’s entry pass promptly after being let go. But this negligence came to both P and the janitor’s advantage. Seeing the janitor after so many days, P smiled and held out his hand, ready to go to the library. But the janitor shook their head. They did their best to explain the situation, but nothing made sense to the puppet. He didn’t understand how the world worked. But when the janitor started to cry as they waved and shook their head at his outstretched hand, something changed in P. Scientist would ponder later if it was at this stage that P developed a human heart. Though outwardly a puppet, it seemed the emotional stress propelled P into a second awakening, and he held onto the janitor’s fading figure. Cradling their face, he peered into their eyes and gently wiped away the tears. Then he spoke three words. I come too?
Sophia watched as the janitor’s eyes widened as they refused P’s gentle request. This action was used in court to show that the janitor never intended to steal P, but it weighed little in the after events. Backing away from P once more, they raised their voice and told P that he must stay here. That he didn’t understand what it meant to stay with the janitor. They would be caught! The janitor would be sent to jail. P would probably be turned off, permanently. They couldn’t do that! They left P there, standing with a hand that waited to be taken.
Sophia sighed. It was at this point that thing changed. No one knew what went on in Ps mind during this time. In fact he turned off his memory entirely so nothing could be gleaned through investigations. All she knew was that P became despondent to testing and nothing the scientists did could recover him. Talk went around about a system reboot and P was placed in a room filled with discarded puppets and puppet parts. P somehow understood the meaning by name. How could he not when he was surrounded by puppet 359, 358, 340, 30, 12, 1. No one understood what occurred in P at that moment, though most conclude it was at that moment he started to malfunction. An alert went out. P had broken out of the building.
The breakout was kept hushed up, but that didn’t stop the janitor from discovering what happened. How could it when they woke up to see P hanging out on their front porch? But when P turned to them with a smile. When P let out a bashful laugh and said, “Alone without you,”, well, they couldn’t just abandon him, could they? They hurriedly packed as P watched. They were still jobless and would be homeless soon enough. A life on the run was just a different path, and who knew what it would offer them as opposed to a life in poverty. They ushered P into the car, got into the driver’s seat, and stepped on the gas into a new life.
P’s memories greatly expanded during this time, and it was a good thing the scientists gave him a large memory. They had the bare essentials, so had to rely on each other for entertainment. Countless memories of watching the janitor drive, of petting their head as they slept, of imaging up stories, jokes, riddles, and other games. Most nights they camped in the woods, and Sophia got to see starry night skies and red mornings that blessed the couple on the run. While the janitor planned out the next location, P would wrap his arm around their waist and watch from their shoulders. He would attempt to cook for the janitor, though most meals ended in failures that janitor grudgingly scarfed down. Though he had no experience, P intuitively knew that the janitor had to take care of themselves more than P did. There were many memories of P helping the janitor to take a bath, do the laundry, and other chores that kept them healthy and happy. The duo went from place to place, never staying too long to be remembered. They honestly had no idea whether the law was onto them, and if so, how close they were to being caught.
Honestly, they would have evaded capture if it wasn’t for Geppetto. The scientist, some said, understood P-360 too well. Despite opposition, the scientist placed a tracker on P though he told no one. The moment the puppet began showing signs of self-learning, Geppetto placed the tracker anticipating the puppet’s curiosity to take him out of the scientist’s control. It didn’t take long to find the car and plan an ambush. Sophia never accepted Geppetto’s rationalization for his actions. To Geppetto, P’s breakout was clearly planned and orchestrated by the janitor. The puppet was simply incapable of doing so himself unless he had a reason, a perpetrator. To Geppetto, the janitor had to die, and so the car was sprayed with bullets. The janitor died instantly, and a confused, bullet-ridden P was taken back to the institute and dismantled.
“Are you still obsessed with that case,” a voice called out to Sophia, pulling her out of her thoughts. Sophia shrugged. Though she trusted Eugenie, she had too many years of keeping her guard up in the judicial industry to tell her full thoughts. When the car was recovered, they found countless paintings P and the janitor did from their time at the institute. They also found the drawings P did of the janitor as they drove or slept. All of it was destroyed, alongside the car, leaving their only proof of existence in the memories of a now extant puppet.
“It just reminds me of why I do what I do”.
Eugenie hummed, then hesitantly spoke again.
“Did you hear? Geppetto’s created a new puppet. He’s called this one Carlo. Apparently, this puppet can do all sorts of feats beyond human limits!”
But can he live like P?
“They’re planning to do some tests with the military. This could change our armies and shake global peace”.
Sophia looked at the memories once more, then pressed on the first one again.
“I hope he malfunctions”.

Signalis oc: puppe (german for doll)
Tumblr media
Puppe is an eule stationed in vineta that was previously marked for termination but survived the process and escaped but left heavily damaged she almost died on the streets of vineta where she was further beaten and used as an art project by others. She was later taken in by a kind gestalt mechanic Yuna however most of her body was irreparable without possibly greatly increased persona degredation. They lived together for some time but a massive imperial attack on vineta seperated them so now Puppe is searching for Yuna hoping for their survival.
Puppe is actually my idea for one of the potential protagonists in my idea for a signalis sequel i have alot of ideas for it so if you want to hear it please tell me.

Can we get a part 5 to sugar (c)rush with the beginning of her heat with kookie?
(I will continue to edge you dw) sfw but suggestive haha
Series Masterlist
Tumblr media
It's clear to you that with Jungkook around, your heat won't just stay at feeling your typical emotional Rollercoaster and maybe the occasional binge attack because you feel just empty- this time, it's a different hunger that's building up, and you're not sure how to act on it.
If you're acting too desperate, won't that turn him off? Aren't you supposed to make him work for it or something?
Unbeknownst to you, however, he's already on the edge of his seat, so to say. Your scent has been changing dramatically since yesterday- and he knows for a fact, that while he was able to calmly sleep beside you tonight (which was more than just enjoyable on his end, he absolutely loves how clingy you were throughout the night), that won't be the case this time. He's got good self-control, that's true- but there's only so much a wolf like him can take with you around, basically begging him with your body language to breed you.
And God, does he want to do just that.
You've just come out of the bathroom, hair dried, ears and tail fluffy and clean, and skin looking soft. The only thing that bothers him terribly is your scent-
There's no trace of him left on you.
You might not know that, it's entirely possible, but your heat automatically affects him too. After all, your cycle will sync up with his own after a few months of living together- a common effect of being mated to another hybrid. Though in your case, you might not have such harsh heats as a dog.
He doesn't know- yet.
But considering the way you slowly and (in your head at least, probably) sneakily inch closer and closer to him it's jot far away anymore. He knows exactly what you're doing, and it's a little bit torture to have you sit next to him in nothing but a shirt and some shorts, leaving most of your skin exposed. He can see clearly that you're not wearing a bra anymore- and his hand itches to touch, grab, feel your body.
You're so painfully unaware of how appealing to him you are.
His arm raps around you as you seem to finally jump over your shadow, moving to lay your legs over his lap from the side, arms around his body. "Hm?" He asks when you whine in complaint into his side, hands grabbing at his clothes. "What's up now?" He chuckles.
"...it's weird." You mumble, muffled into his shirt.
"No its not." He says, shaking his head. "What's wrong? You don't smell like me anymore?" He tries, and you nod, ears pinned back in frustration. "Hm that's what bothers me too." He offers, carefully moving to check for any signs that you're not ready yet. "I can think of ways to change that, though.." he hums, and its pretty evident that you're in no way not ready yet, as you easily lay onto your bag, tail wagging impatiently while you hold on the front of his shirt, trying to pupp him closer.
"Please.." you plead up at him, and he licks his lips as if to prepare himself as the predator for his prey-
Because what kind of mate would he be to deny you when you ask for it so sweetly?

I've been reading Till's poetry book, "In Stillen Nächten" ("Nas Noites Tranquilas") and I'm actually enjoying most of the poems. Some seem to make no sense or I just don't think I understand them (many times I catch myself commenting in the end "What the fuck did I just read?"😅). Others make me laugh. My favourites, so far, are the most depressive and fatalist, I'm reckoning (guess it's the Portuguese in me). And there are others that make me a bit more uncomfortable (although I think this book is "lighter" on that matter compared to what I've read about Messer). But, in the end, they all make me feel something.
This means, I will, most likely, be sharing some of my favourites, particularly in Portuguese.
Right now, I feel like talking about one called "Wenn Mutti spät zur Arbeit geht" ("When Mother goes to work late"/"Quando a Mãe vai trabalhar tarde").
During my searches, I ended up on RammWiki (bless them) and was linked to MusikGuru, to find that there's a GDR children's song called "Wenn Mutti Früh Zur Arbeit Geht". Well, I'm assuming (and then, after reading the RammWiki page, confirmed) this poem takes inspiration from said song, which was interesting to learn.
As we know, Till adapts some of his poems into Rammstein songs and Lindemann/his solo work (we can read some more familiar lines in this book, that I might bring up too) and for those of you who get the language, you might have already noticed he made this one darker and it became "Puppe".
youtube
The GDR song talks about Mom having to go to work early and how the child engages in all these age appropriate chores while, also, having time to play with her "child doll" ("puppenkind"), certainly training her to be a good mother one day.
Till's poem and lyrics twist it around, setting the time in darker hours and giving it a darker meaning. In the poem, the child is on his own, after Mom feeds him a biscuit and shuts him in his room. Mother seems to be a prostitute and her work place is the room next door. He peeps through the lock and sees her getting killed by one of her clients. There's, then, a final verse where he adds how he's been sad before and won't miss her.
In "Puppe", he filled the text more and upped the weird/dark scale. This time, the story goes around a sister and no longer a mother. Same line of work, same working place [from what translation gives me, he gets a bit ironic and goes on a little word play here, changing from work place ("Arbeitsplatz") to creative place ("Schaffensplatz")] and same fate in the end. He picks the doll part from the GDR song, as the sister leaves it with him and it keeps him company (and they take it up a notch live). There's also a change to what he's feeding on - from biscuits to medicine. Contrary to the child in the poem, who wasn't sad anymore, the child in Puppe gets increasingly upset and angry, until, putting all these emotions out in the doll, ends up making him feel better.
